Overview
The following terms of and conditions (“terms”) govern the use of this website, www.lafrika.de (“the website”), and the use of the Ardmore Design’s products that are manufactured by ARDMORE DESIGN AND ARDMORE CERAMICS (‘“Ardmore”) and Anna Rosholt Jewellery, both of which are offered for sale by L’Afrika and Co (“L’Afrika”) and the components and materials from which they are made (“products”).
Users of this site and users and/or purchasers of any products, agree to be bound by these terms which are inserted by L’Afrika for its own benefit and for the benefit of Ardmore, and are capable of being enforced by either of them as may be appropriate in any case.
Persons must not use this website if they do not agree with any of these terms.
L’Afrika reserves the right to alter these terms from time to time.
Sales Tax
Please note that purchasers or other receivers of products may be required by the country in which the order is received, in addition to the purchase price, pay sales tax or customs duties on the order. These charges shall be borne by the purchaser or receiver and not by L’Afrika.

The sharing of any photography on this site is welcomed but may be shared or redistributed only in their original unedited form.
Intellectual Property:
This website and the content contained herein and on L’afrika social media accounts and press, including but not limited to products, designs, patterns, text, logos and insignia and video, are subject to copyright and intellectual property rights held exclusively by Lafrika and/or Ardmore Design and may not be copied or reproduced under any circumstances in any manner whatsoever. Such rights are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.

Right of Cancellation of Orders
Lafrika reserves the right, at its own discretion, to cancel any order or purchase made on this website. In such an event, Lafrika shall, refund, reimburse, or issue a voucher or coupon on that purchase, in whole or in part, as it deems appropriate in the circumstances.
Erroneous Orders
If an order or purchase from this website is made in error in respect of price and invoicing of product, shipping/delivery, and sales tax, L’afrika reserves the right to amend or cancel that order or purchase, at its own discretion. In such an event, L’afrika will take steps reasonable in the circumstances to rectify the error promptly.
Pricing
L’afrika reserves the right to alter and differentiate prices without prior notice. Prices may differ between countries or territories in consideration of exchange rates and production costs.
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Indemnity
By using this site and by purchasing and/or using L’Afrika products (Ardmore Design and Ceramics and Anna Rosholt Jewellery), you agree to fully indemnify L’Afrika and their respective agents and associates against any claim or demand, as well as any losses, expenses, damages, costs, resulting from such use or purchase or from any violation of these terms.
Exclusion of Liability
By using this site and/or by using products purchased on this site, you agree that neither L’Afrika nor their agents shall be liable to the user, purchaser or any other person for any form of damages or costs whatsoever arising from such use and L’Afrika doesn’t give any guarantees nor warranties for the performance or safety of products outside of their intended purpose.
In-Stock products
Orders for In-Stock products may not be cancelled after the item ships. An item has been shipped when L’Afrika has generated a tracking number and provided this to the customer.
Out-of-stock products
Orders for out-of-stock items may be cancelled within 5 business days of L’Afrika notifying the customer that an item is temporarily out of stock. Should the customer wish to cancel the order, L’Afrika will refund the original form of payment, in full.
Delivery
All decor items and masks (except for furniture): *Delivery is normally 3-5 days, however delivery can take up to 21 days for any items that may not be in stock.
All ceramics and Jewellery: *Delivery is 3-5 days within Germany and 3-7 days rest of Europe.
Furniture: *Delivery is not included. Customer to contact L’Afrika to arrange preferential delivery rates for orders.
Products out of stock in Europe can take up to 21 working days. Customers will be informed on receipt of order.
Free delivery on certain items to Continental Europe: excluding U.K, Jersey, Ireland and Cyprus.
Delivery to the U.S may incur additional charges/import duties.
Returns
We offer a no-hassle return policy on all of our In Stock & Back Order products but excluding for Made-to-Order items. Simply contact us within five (5) calendar days of receiving your order via our email address , to inform us of your circumstances. A few items to note about Returns:
Return shipping is for the customer’s own account. In addition, no refund will be made for the original (outbound) shipping charge.
All returns must be packaged in the same manner as they were sent from L’Afrika. Returns will not be accepted if the merchandise is not new-in-box and/or shows any sign of wear, use or damage.
Refunds are always credited back to the original form of payment. From the time L’Afrika initiates a refund, it may take up to ten (10) business days for the credit to appear on the customer’s statement.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange new-in-box merchandise for other items in the L’Afrika range. Excluded from this policy are any made to order items.
To initiate an exchange, the customer must contact L’Afrika within five (5) calendar days of receiving the order via the L’Afrika email address linda@lafrika.de to make the request. Shipping will be charged to the customer on both legs of the exchange.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
Variation of Terms
L'Afrika is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website, customers are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
Assignment
The L'Afrika is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, the customer is not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of his or her rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between L'Afrika and the customer in relation to its use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of DE, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in DE for the resolution of any disputes.
